This San Francisco cutie looks adorable in her bell bottoms. I would never have thought to wear bell bottoms, but they're so flattering and make her look like 1970's tomboy. Now I'm itching for a dark-wash pair. Would you wear them?(Photo by SF Style)

I would totally wear bell bottoms. Love them!
ReplyDeleteYeaahhh these are great!!! Have a relaxing weekend! :-D
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! They are so chic!
ReplyDeleteWearing dark wash bell bottoms with a button down shirt tucked in right now :)
ReplyDeleteA total DO! These will never go out of style.

Love these!
ReplyDeleteshe is wearing them just right, so they aren't so much a statement piece but blend right in. perfect.
ReplyDeleteWearing my bell bottoms right now too! ;)
ReplyDeleteoh yes- love. Although, I think I'd just call them wide-leg flair! Takes the mystery out of pant. ;)
ReplyDeletehaha, no way, bk! and victoria, i totally agree xo
ReplyDeletehaha, emily, good one. makes it sound less costume-y.
ReplyDeleteThose look alot like the blue bells from emersonmade! I've been longing for a pair.
ReplyDeleteThis was pretty much my outfit to travel yesterday (although my shirt was black and white checkered). I don't find bell bottoms or flares all that flattering on me, but I don't really care.
ReplyDeleteyou're so right, kipin! ps. i love her sunglasses, too :)
ReplyDeleteMost definitely! I find bell bottoms much more flattering than skinny jeans! (on me, anyway!)
ReplyDeleteI totally would. The skinny-jeans trend has never been my friend.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the 70s bell bottom trend. I wish I could trade in all of my skinnys for some trendy flares!
ReplyDeleteI would and do! Paige Denim's Lou Lou Tulip Bell are the best!
ReplyDeletethe whole outfit looks so chic,
ReplyDeleteand I'd totally wear the pants
http://girlynote.blogspot.com
Love!! I have about 3 pairs.
ReplyDeleteDo!!
ReplyDeleteA definite DO! love bell bottoms - so flattering too
ReplyDeleteNeed her hairstyle. Now.
ReplyDeleteBecca
DO! I love that bells bottoms are back. Skinnys don't work on everyone, so it's good to have this option.
ReplyDeletexx,
fashionable palette
If I had the height and long legs to carry them off, I definitely would. But I think I look ridiculous in jeans hehe
ReplyDeleteTotally!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually wearing a pair of high-waisted 'flare' jeans today (dark wash). I feel comfy and trendy! Hubby called me a hippie, but so what! :)
Absolutely! J Brand Love Story jeans are great bell bottoms in dark wash :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a total do! Love the look although I am short and not sure if the pants would really work on me!
ReplyDeletei never liked them! And the fact that you have to be thin to wear them so they fit beautifully
ReplyDeletehttp://anmarkdesign.blogspot.com/
It's a "do" for me, so long as they are worn responsibly.
ReplyDeleteI love bell bottoms! I have a couple pairs of J. Brand Love Story, and they are the perfect amount of flare at the bottom. You should check them out!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely! Bought a pair of J Brand Love story this spring, and I've worn the bejeezus outta them! So flattering, so classic, they make you look leggy and skinny always!
ReplyDeleteI love this look, I think she looks awesome! And I'm definitely stuck in a rut with all of my skinnies, so maybe I need to give something like these a try!
ReplyDeleteSally
Yes! 1970s Tomboy is the name of the game, as far as I'm concerned.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely wear bell bottoms... and I do. I also have that exact shirt :)
ReplyDeleteFashionable Collections
Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteyesss! I love bell bottoms :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THEM, but you gotta have THIN THIGHS, or it's not workin'.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I don't know if I would wear them.
ReplyDeleteIn my younger years I DID wear them and looked pretty darned good in them I might add... Would I wear them now... nope. But you go girl!!
ReplyDeleteDi
love bells! can dress up or down depending on your mood.
ReplyDeleteI never ever ever thought I would wear them until Emersonmade came out with them a year or so ago . . . now I have three pairs and I can't stop. And they're high-waisted and everything! It's insane! They're addictive I tell you!
ReplyDeletetotally! i love her outfit, too!
ReplyDeleteyes yes! she looks so cute!
ReplyDeletehttp://boyhowdydaily.blogspot.com
love the flares that are coming out right now, but i think you must wear them with a wedge or heel! jbrand's lovestory and paige's lou lou are the best out there!

Love!
ReplyDeletenah - too old1
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely yes! I used to wear a pair in middle school when it was not so trendy, but this is so fabulous and she pulled it together perfectly!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! I have several pair. They are definitely rolling back into style with all the platform shoes out there. Here's one of my interpretations: http://frockthis.blogspot.com/2011/05/just-shoot-me.html

Oooh, I just got home from buying a pair of these at Gap on super sale ($15). Hopefully I'll look as cute as she does in them.
ReplyDeletei have some and i wear them all the time! they are by salt and fit better every time i wear them!
ReplyDeleteps. for all the longer-legged ladies out there, keep your eyes peeled for ones w/ cuffs on the bottom. i undid mine and they're the perfect length! no one wants to see flared pants that are too short, yuck!
YES! I love my new flairs. So flattering. So fun. Joe's Jeans from Anthropology. I wear them with my wedge boots, and my shoes almost disappear.... hence I become even taller and leggier. What's not to love?
ReplyDeleteooo I would, I think, def. have to be dark wash. I am having these flash backs to when I had a pair in high school...and I'm just not sure they looked good on me!
ReplyDeleteBell bottoms are a total yes! theya re coming back and I'm currently looking for a pair nad some wide leg hippie jeans. I want her whole outfit!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding.... I would wear them every day if i wasnt so short.
ReplyDeleteYES! My favorite pair of jeans are my classic Levi's bells :) xo
ReplyDeletelove those bell bottoms.....when you have a bigger butt/thighs tis a nice, nice balance....but not TOO bell-bottomy.... you rock thanks for the awesome blog...inspiring ;) Su
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love them and if I found the perfect pair I would definitely wear them!
ReplyDeletewww.styleisalwaysfashionable.blogspot.com
hell yes!
ReplyDeleteThank God they're back. So much sexier than skinny or low rise on 99.99% of the population!!! I'm wearing my vintage bells right now, even though I'm short and not so thin in the thigh!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes! Definitely!!!
ReplyDeleteI really love the way they look on her, and so I suppose I would wear them if I found the perfect pair. However, I don't like to buy pants that need heels in order for them to look good, and in my opinion, that is the case with flares and bells. I love the look of heels, but I live in a super-casual town and am a teacher, so I rarely wear them. Thus, I will stick to my beloved skinnies, which I can wear with high heels, flats, and anything in between.
ReplyDeleteDefinitley DO!!!!
ReplyDelete100 percent do! They're fun and sassy! I have these: http://bit.ly/kHeWaA. They're like butta!
ReplyDeleteI recently bought some bell-bottoms and wasn't so sure at first but now I love them, I really think they're very flattering with a killer pair of heels.

DO.
ReplyDeletei've always loved bell bottoms most... and even better, i love looking at old pictures of my gorgeous 20-something mama wearing them!!
ReplyDeleteNo way. She looks great, but I am a fan of plain old non-trendy straight legs. Flairs always seem kind of trashy to me.
ReplyDeletei say DO! look how amazing she looks! i am sure not everyone can pull them off but on the right person the look fab!! xx
ReplyDeleteLove them! Hope these make a comeback because I'm not looking forward to trying to fit into my skinny jeans again after this baby LOL
ReplyDeleteBig time DOOOO!!!
ReplyDeleteDefinite DO. I'm obsessed with a dark wash wide leg. It's so flattering, can go dressy or casual, and is perfect for Fall. I'm glad they are making a come back again. I'm slightly over the skinny jean fetish, it's not the most flattering look. when we think fashion, we think proportion and skinny jeans don't do that unless your 5 ft 10. The tucked in shirt (which i love by the way that blue plaid) makes this outfit pulled together and preppy. Great outfit! Loving it!!
ReplyDeletexoxo MyStyleVita.com
yes, absolutely! Love this look with the plaid and cognac leather trim. how cute =)
ReplyDeleteI've been wearing bell bottoms for years. Look better with high heels/platform shoes.
ReplyDeleteA big YES!
ReplyDeleteYES I WOULD. Infact I just got brave and bought a pair! Im still getting use to them, they are high waisted! But I love them. I will be posting about them soon since I put them into my 30 for 30 :)
ReplyDeleteTotally! I just came from the mall where I tried on some skinny jeans and my calves got stuck in them. The more bell the merrier!
ReplyDeleteoh i love this pic. I've only got into skinny jeans in the last couple of years. It seems only yesterday that i was wearing my mom's flares to college (mid-late nineties!). i feel another flare wearing phase coming on though after seeing this pic. LOVE.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! Yes! They are coming back for sure.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely do, they are so fun and flattering. I don't own one pair of jeans in my wardrobe, but if I were to go out an invest in a pair, those bell bottoms would definitely by first on my list.
ReplyDeleteI love bellbottoms. I went through I an "I hate looking like it's 2001 again" stage but they've come back around. They are so flattering.
ReplyDeleteI own some high waisted bell bottoms and ADORE them! Extremely slimming and funky!
ReplyDeletesure would!!
ReplyDeleteYes! I found a great pair at the Gap. I love wearing them with my black studded clogs.
ReplyDeleteYup!
ReplyDeleteIf I find a pair that makes me look like that girl, I'm totally on board the bell bottoms look! I've always thought they were fabulous.
ReplyDeleteDo. Definitely do.
ReplyDeleteeh...
ReplyDeleteAt 5 feet tall, I would look like a jerk. But for those who can pull them off...go for it!
ReplyDeleteKate

Just flairs with a different name. I would completely go with this look.
ReplyDeleteProbably not on me but this chick is rocking them! Love her shirt too!
ReplyDeletenooo!! i dont like them at all! not on her, not on me or anyone else... i dont really know why... mmm...
ReplyDeleteADRIANA
oh gosh. i love em. and wear them at least twice a week...to work!
ReplyDeleteget a pair. xoox
Most definitely! And I love the tomboy look.
ReplyDeleteNot anymore! After the whole skinny jean fad, I find them actually comfier.
ReplyDeleteI own a pair and want to wear them with a chambray shirt, ombre brown sunglasses, wedge heels and a floppy hat
ReplyDeleteI am a 70's girl!!
ReplyDeletexxx
If I had a pair of lovely slender hips I would definitely wear a pair. She looks absolutely timeless and lovely.
ReplyDeleteAlas...genetics did not favor my fashion sense.
hi,i like your look in this picture...i follow your blog,it's very pretty..i hope you follow mine http://yourfashionchic.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeletekissess
So what makes them that much different from boot cut? Anyway, I'm old enough to remember when they were in style. This one is not an extreme example by any means. David Bowie wrote a song about them!(At least I think it was David Bowie!)
ReplyDeletenoooot really :( my legs arent long enough it would look really weird on me
ReplyDeletesydsense.blogspot.com
Like SO many trends, this is another one of those "wow! that looks good on her!" trend that I know would look silly on me.
ReplyDeleteI would rather catch a stray bullet than be seen in bell bottoms.
ReplyDeleteIf you're a fashion victim then go for it, and risk feeling pretty stupid later on.
eek! I can't do bell bottoms. Since im short and "hippy" (ha get it?) they aren't too flattering on me. I look more clown like and less chic.
ReplyDeleteI just bought two pairs of bell bottoms/flares a couple weeks ago! My mom had that awesome 70s plaid & flare thing going on, and I've always wanted to recreate it. And for all those girls who think they're too short to wear them -- you just haven't found the right pair! Trust me, my legs are just that bit too short, but when you find the right cut of flare, you can always rock it. Like my mom said...an entire generation wore them and looked good no matter WHAT their body type was. :)
ReplyDeleteI will totally buy some of these. They are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteBeen there, done that!
ReplyDeleteI even got me a pair because I love them.
ReplyDeleteLove! The rise on hers is very flattering; not too high, not too low:)
ReplyDeleteYES! I would totally wear those! In fact I may have to go find some right now... GREAT photo. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeletean absolute do!
ReplyDeleteLOVe them! Can't get enough! I got this great pair of wooden and leather clogs that I wear under mine and tower around town, which I adore. They make me feel sexy in a way that skinnies never will.
ReplyDeleteI love them!! Yes, I would definitely wear them and I love the dark wash - not sure that I would do a lighter wash! :)
ReplyDeletehttp://sweetandsassy-sherry.blogspot.com/
ok... i once wore elephant bells and might try these... they are pretty darn cool... xx
ReplyDeleteDo! And yes!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking if you are under 5'4" like me you should probably stay away from bell bottoms. Unless you don't mind the flare starting at your knee.
ReplyDeleteBut of course the model looks great!
Bell bottoms are hands down the most flattering jeans - they make your legs look a million miles long! Out with the skinny, in with the bells!

Do, they look awesome :)

http://thisishowwerule.blogspot.com/
I only wear bell-bottoms!
ReplyDeleteJust bought two pairs from Gap, I love them.
ReplyDeleteI actually love bell bottoms and boot cut pants. I've never fully embraced the skinny jeans trend. I personally believe that bell bottoms are more flattering :)
ReplyDeleteJD, good point!
