Three pretty things

The beautiful Susan Cernek in a blue shirt with ripped jeans and sky-high heels. She gets it right every time.
This gorgeous room makes me want to get brighter lightbulbs and more plants for our apartment.
How genius is this? I have an elevator phobia, but I'd at least press the button for this one (and then take the stairs.)

The only time I get scared in an elevator, is when it's surrounded by glass walls and you can see exactly how far you're going up... really then, that's being scared of heights I guess. Maybe not the same :)

  51. I love that elevator art! I once got stuck in a tiny elevator in Seville for about 2 minutes and it was horrible! I'm not even claustrophobic, but my friend started laughing hysterically and I found myself screaming at her to stop because she was using up all the oxygen. Hilarious in retrospect.

  57. That parquet flooring is Beautiful! It reminds me of the classic apartments in France. Speaking of France: you'd find the elevators (particularly in that classy kind of apartment buildings) horrible! Tiny and antique!! (but wouldn't such a beautiful home be worth carrying your baby up a gazillion steps?)

    ReplyDelete

  63. Oh I SO wish that brighter light bulbs could mimic that glorious natural light, I would put them in every room. But so far I'm realizing that nothing can replace having lots of big, lovely windows like that. In our next house that will be my number one criteria.

  74. my sweets, here are the answers from susan, about her beautiful clothes:

"the shoes are Christian Louboutin (blue velvet! couldn’t resist), the button-down is Uniqlo and the jeans are one of my favorite purchases & shopping experiences ever: 50-euro jeans from a Paris H&M. I saw them in the window the morning I landed and zoomed back the next day, only to find the LAST pair in my size. They are magic."
