This weekend, Alex, Toby and I walked by a new store, The Meadow, in the West Village. The shop sells chocolate, flowers and artisan salts (it's all about life's simple pleasures), and we splurged on these Komforte Chockolate bars. Aren't the flavors fun? They were really delicious.
P.S. They'd make cute stocking stuffers.
P.P.S. I'm so excited for this year's gift guide!

ReplyDeleteI put the Ramen one in my hubby's Christmas stocking last year. It was actually pretty delicious.
ReplyDeleteFEED ME!
ReplyDeleteThose sounds amazing. Did they have pickle flavor chocolate?
The packaging is so cute on those chocolate bars. Entices you to be a bit daring and try the flavours even though they don't sound so appealing!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever heard of Theo Chocolate (from Seattle?). They are really well known in the Northwest for their fair trade chocolate and unusual flavors (like bread and chocolate and bacon!).
ReplyDeleteLoving the type on these.
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for anything chocolate
Hmmmm... I'm a girl who likes her chocolate. But are those flavors really good??
ReplyDeletesweet freak, yes -- they're soooo delicious. sometimes chocolate flavors are too quirky, but these are actually so good.
ReplyDeleteI just visited the Meadow a few weeks ago when I was in NY! Did you speak with the owner, Mark? Wow, that guys knows salt. I brought home a little pot of truffle salt and have been putting it on EVERYTHING!
ReplyDeleteSounds delish.
ReplyDeleteWOW! These would be perfect for my boyfriend -- he's much more of a savory snacker, and I'm afraid that any more stocking-stuffer beef jerky or stocking-stuffer Marmite might do him in, blood pressure-wise... and Ramen Noodle Chocolate would be right up his alley ... Thanks for the find!
