  10. this would be perfect for our new home, or condo rather! we are finally moving out of our college town studio and into the most darling little town right on the ocean! the only furniture we own thus far is our mattress and a trunk! haha! oh the newlywed way of living! :)

Just hung an paddle over my son's window and framing one of his paintings of a boat and a map on one wall...this would be perfect for the theme I seem to have going! Have had MySparrow in my sidebar blog roll for a long time! BIG HEART!

  84. I saw a piece similar to this over at Jayson when I was searching for lighting last week -- so lovely. Nautical pieces always seem classic to me, and the WASPiness can be tempered when the space is kept casual. (I'm considering this Naval brass bell as a front doorbell replacement. I think it would just be tremendously fun!)

  100. I just bought my first house and will be closing in a couple of weeks. Having grown up by the ocean (I even have a tattoo that means ocean in Arabic) living in land-locked central MA has been rough. I already have plans to turn my house into a (sans) beach house. This would be a gorgeous addition.
